Dawn Marie is a native of Maryland and currently resides in the “Tar Heel State” of North Carolina. Starting as a young child playing 'dress up", she had a lifelong passion for wearing and showcasing beautiful gowns from around the world. At the age of 10 she competed in her first beauty pageant, which launched her lifelong career as a fashion/editorial model, pageant director, spokesmodel and educator.  

Dawn Marie appeared in magazines like Modern Bride, Maryland Bride, Baltimore Bride, Premier Brides, Brides & Weddings, The Perfect Wedding Guide, as well as publications for North Carolina Tourism, The Washington Post and various Belk’s, Hanes apparel ads. She graced the runways of Thailand, New York, Virginia, Florida, D.C. and Maryland all while being crowned Miss Ethnic World District of Columbia and Miss Nations Capital. She made 2^nd runner up in the 1999 Miss Teen Washington D.C. and top 15 in the 2001 Miss Maryland USA pageant. She is the producer of Miss Holly Ridge and served as a multi-state director for Princess of America North and South Carolina from 2016-2021. But that’s not all, achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a Master’s in Business Administration didn't come easy with a life on the move, but graduating with Honors made the icing that much sweeter!  

Dawn Marie owns and operates Dawn Marie & Company LLC and just recently launched her online Bridal and Formal Wear boutique. Having worked in the bridal and formal wear industry for over 20 years, and with quality as her benchmark, Dawn Marie thrives in offering quality designer gowns at affordable prices.
